Alex Tanea is the General Manager and Executive Chef at Beekman Golf Course. He combines a diverse professional background with a deep passion for golf, bringing both leadership and instructional expertise to his role. A PGA Associate, and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Alex has a certification with the American Development Model (ADM). With over 25 years of experience playing golf and 7 years of teaching students of all skill levels, Alex brings a practical and personalized approach to instruction.

His teaching philosophy focuses on simplicity and adaptability. By identifying each student’s unique learning style, he develops clear, fundamental, and repeatable techniques that lead to greater consistency. Alex emphasizes helping students understand and refine their own natural swing rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all method. He offers individual lessons tailored to full swing, short game, and on-course play, as well as group lessons. Junior and adult clinics are also available.
